Where to get foundation for super pale people?

I am basically Dita Von Teese white-skinned. I have had so much trouble finding pale enough foundation.

Everything makes me look like I have a tan: Nars, Clarins, Guerlain.....I've tried lots.

Where can I get super super pale (nearly white) foundation??

PS Please don't tell me to get a tan!!|||I am super SUPER pale myself and I've been to the dermatologist and am forbidden to tan so my only option (besides using a light facial tanner - which makes me look fake) is to use really pale foundation as well. I go with Neutrogena Visibly Even foundation in blushing ivory. this works great with my skin because it's natural and doesn't clog my pores. also, if a foundation is too light, a trick is to buy a facial moisturizer and mix that with the foundation before applying it. This will lighten the foundation and moisturize your skin as well.

Another idea would be to try the new Almay product that is supposed to "change to your skin color." I have never tried it, but heard it works great. It comes as a white foundation and "camoflauges" to your skin after applying it.

Hope this helps!|||Im a redhead, so I understand your problem. Try Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse...the palest color may work for you. Even if it is not a perfect match for your skin...as long as you apply it evenly it shouldnt make you look like you have a tan.

Be sure you use blush so it looks natural!

Good luck!|||Have you thought about trying Bare Escentuals? It's a powder foundation instead of a liquid, which might work better for your skin.|||If you're open to trying mineral makeup, I HIGHLY recommend Aromaleigh! (www.aromaleigh.com) Their foundation comes in Ghost (pure white), Alabaster (nearly white), and many "regular" skintone colors with lots of different undertones. Since mineral makeup comes in a loose powder form, it's also very easy to mix two shades if you find out you are in-between!

I am also super pale and was never able to find a match in traditional brands. (People always told me Prescriptives was the best for pale skintones, but even they didn't make one pale enough!) With Aromaleigh, I found that my perfect match is a mixture of Alabaster plus 1W (light peachy-yellow undertones). Now everyone tells me that my foundation matches so well that it looks like I'm not even wearing makeup!

If you do order from Aromaleigh, ALWAYS order samples first because they don't accept returns!

Aromaleigh only ships the US though. If you're outside the US, try searching for Goth makeup (there are a few brands that make white foundation -- if it's too light you might be able to mix with something darker), or try creating your own mineral foundation by mixing a "normal" color with a white or super-pale eyeshadow. (Most mineral makeup is safe to use anywhere on your face.)

You are certainly welcome to try Bare Minerals (Bare Essentials) if you want, but I never have because I don't think their lightest foundation ("Fair") is light enough. Aromaleigh has a BE-to-Aromaleigh comparison chart on their website, and they say Fair is equivalent to Aromaleigh 2C which is way too dark and too pink for me! (I did try the Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse someone mentioned above ... yeah WAY too dark, it looked brown on me!)

Another option is to try a sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer. It's a little easier to match a sheer foundation than a full-coverage. The closest match I found before Aromaleigh was Prescriptive's Traceless Foundation in Level 1 since it was sheer and had warm undertones instead of pink, but it still wasn't a perfect match.

Good luck and I hope you find something that works! I know how frustrating it is!|||Clinique! And their stuff is oil free so it wont clog your pores!|||I use two foundations:

For sheer and easy coverage - Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in the lightest color. Also has SPF.

For a little more coverage, I use MAC Hyper real SPF 15 in NW100. I have pink undertone to my pale skin, so I use the NW (neutral warm). I wear this when I want a more dramatic makeup look - it downplays my freckles with more coverage.

I also use Laura Mercier loose powder in translucent - no color. I found that to be the best as it doesn't try to add a beige or anything to my skin.
